Warm Croissants on a Winter Morning


I googled 'best croissant in Paris' and came across Chez Pim's blog and list of boulangerie around Paris.

I went for Stohrer in Rue Montorguile as it was most convenient for me and just 5 metro stops away from where I was staying at.
Apparently, it's the oldest pastry shop in Paris, being established in 1730.
I was there while it was still dark outside for fresh croissant, it was steaming when I break it. Absolute bliss...

The lobby lounge is both spacious and comfortable, with curtain glass walls all the way to the ceiling and nice view of the lake garden. This is a great spot for New Year's Eve celebration where you can watch fireworks from the comfort of the lounge.


The hotel offers variety of dining options at its outlets and speciality restaurant - Chynna (Chinese) and Iketeru (Japanese).
